People tallk alot about free. We hear about all kinds of "free" things: Free money, free credit reports, free items in the grocery store, FREEdom to talk/move about this great country of ours. Free enterprise, free trade. But is all this REALLY free??

Cash for Clunkers

I was, until I talked to a dealer involved in the program. According to him, the government has not really explained this program to the public. This is not about getting cars or trucks off the road. It is their way of trying to save fuel. I have a 1994 ranger that gets 26 mpg. It is not eligible for the program. I have a neighbor that has a YUGO that gets 30mpg. It is not eligible. Is anyone else as enamored with this show as I am. I am not usually the slice and dice kinda girl, but, this show as captured my imagination and I am not sure why. The final two hours is this Saturday and I will have to go through withdrawal at the conclusion. Maybe it's because there isn't poop on television this summer except for inane reality shows.
