That in itself does not mean that six days of creation is literal. It is not beyond reason that a related allegory is applied to the literal for purpose of illustration.

Why do you so oppose the 6 day creation. You say you are a believer but you can not comprehend that god in all his splendor and majesty could not have done what his word says. Do you think that God is not as powerful as he says.

Seems to be a communication problem. I don't see CD saying he opposes God and his creations, LOL! Rather he expressed the using of the "literal reference" to six days.....again opposing it as it may not literally mean a "day" as to be literally "24hrs".

You both have been round and round with this, and here is a reminder found here.

if it took six days to create the earth, dude it would have took forever to make the whole galaxy. assuming each solarsystem has one star(Even though some solarsystems have two or more.) each system has eight planets just like ours exept no life, and there are over 10^12 solarsystems per galaxy, and theres over 125 billion galaxies. if he needed to rest every 7 days...no wounder he wanted us to evolve, hes to busy making stars!
